Purple sweet potato energy balls

Sweet potato energy balls!
Perfect for the lunchbox or as a post Workout snack or just because they are super yummy!
Aaaaand the color is pretty freaking amazing 
For my energy balls or bars, I work from a template and play around with the amounts and I want to share it with you all here.

I really love this recipe because it works every time, with whatever you want to use!

2 cups of the Main filling, like oats, coconut, other flakes like spelt, nuts and so on
1/2-1 cup glue, like dates, sweet potato, and so on
1/3-1/2 cup sweet, like dates, or anything that is sweet (notice that you can use dates as a sweet and as glue)
1 tsp taste, like spices or flavor giver
1-2 tbsp extra, like super foods, protein powders and so on
Mix it all and you are done!That means that you could make like mine a whole food kinda thing or you could add protein powder and make protein Balls, or add chocolate, nut butter and so on. Let me know how it went if you try it.


Sweet Potato Energy Balls

This recipe makes 25 energy balls


  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup coconut, grated
  • 3/4 cup cooked sweet potato
  • 1/2 cup dates, blended
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder
  • 1 tbsp Maca powder
  • 1 tbsp Ground flax seeds


  1. Mix it all in a bowl
  2. Roll it into balls or make bars
